Job summary

A leading sports broadcasting company is seeking a Lead Broadcast Engineer to manage operations at their Stockley Park facility. The role includes overseeing live event operations, managing technical teams, and ensuring high-quality service delivery during live broadcasts. This is a 2-year fixed-term position requiring the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Proven background in broadcast engineering at management level.
• Extensive experience in a live television environment.
• In-depth knowledge of transmission systems, including SCTE.
• Familiarity with video encoding and streaming protocols.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate smooth running of live operations through technical facilities.
• Manage Live Event Supervisors and operators for all live operations.
• Act as point of reference for clients, ensuring their communication.
• Document and communicate operational procedures and issues.
