You'll be at the heart of our digital transformation, creating robust, scalable, and secure systems that support over 550 sites and growing. Your work will enable us to deliver exceptional experiences for customers and colleagues, while driving innovation and efficiency across our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and deliver the technical vision for Dental and Care Services, aligning with Bupa's strategy and North Star operating model.
  • Develop strategic target architectures and roadmaps to support growth and integration.
  • Drive patterns and frameworks that accelerate acquisitions, onboarding, and standardisation.
  • Champion opportunities to consolidate systems and align with a common operating model.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to execute architectural plans and resolve complex challenges.
  • Communicate architectural decisions clearly and build consensus across stakeholders.
  • Support solution-level escalations and operational problem resolution.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture (7+ years), ideally in large, multi-site organisations.
  • Strong understanding of modern architecture practices: microservices, API-led design, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native patterns.
  • Experience creating architecture roadmaps and operational models for high-availability web and mobile systems.
  • Familiarity with regulated environments (CQC) and M&A integration activities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Knowledge of social care and dentistry is advantageous, but transferable skills from similar sectors are welcome.
  • A consultative approach, balancing technical vision with business priorities.
