Job summary

A reputable building services company is seeking a Lead Air Conditioning Engineer / Senior HVAC Engineer to oversee a team, providing technical support in Northamptom and surrounding areas. This role involves service and preventative maintenance of air conditioning appliances, with opportunities for progression into a Supervisor position. The ideal candidate will have recognised air conditioning qualifications, strong customer service skills, and experience in service contracts. Excellent remuneration and personal use of a van are offered.

Lead HVAC Engineer / Senior HVAC Engineer

• As Lead Engineer you will oversee and support a small team of HVAC Engineers, providing technical support and development while in the field.
• Based from home and working on a mobile basis, you will perform service and preventative maintenance on a wide range of air conditioning appliances according to schedules.
• The maintenance team is split by skillset; the client seeks a Senior HVAC Engineer/Lead Air Conditioning Engineer to sit between the Ops Manager and the engineers, with the view that this role will evolve into a Supervisor role.
• Overall responsibility for troubleshooting and diagnostics on problematic air conditioning appliances.
• Lead any small works projects or upgrades.
• Overtime is available and plentiful.
• Personal use of the van.
