Responsibilities:
- Assist the Kitchen Manager with food preparation and daily kitchen operations.
- Train, coach and mentor team members to maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
- Prepare high‑quality dishes consistently to specification for guests.
- Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the absence of the Kitchen Manager.
- Support stock management, ordering and supplies coordination.
- Maintain an excellent, clean and hygienic kitchen at all times.
- Suggest creative ideas to improve kitchen performance and achieve company targets.
Qualifications:
- High standard of food knowledge and cooking skill.
- Up‑to‑date COSHH, Food Safety, Health & Safety, and legal knowledge.
- Ability to assist in supporting, coaching and mentoring a team.
- Willingness to develop personally while propelling the brigade forward.
- Experience or willingness to develop in a fast‑paced pub kitchen.

CAFÉ CHEF / KITCHEN LEADER – REDUCTION ROASTERS (Hampstead)

Responsibilities:
- Lead breakfast service (Fri–Sun) with confidence, organisation and pace.
- Prepare, cook and plate dishes to spec with precision.
- Batch‑prep sandwich fillings, soups and counter dishes during the week.
- Maintain excellent cleanliness, food safety and kitchen organisation.
- Create simple specials and contribute to menu development.

Qualifications:

- Strong organisation and prep skills, confident running a kitchen solo.

- Solid food safety knowledge, including allergen management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef managing kitchen and ensuring dishes meet quality standards.
- Participate in new menu development, tastings and costings.
- Maintain inventory, oversee preparation and cooking during service hours.
- Train and guide kitchen staff in cooking techniques and safety.
- Act as senior culinary point of contact for clients and brand building.
Qualifications:
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- 2–4 years’ experience, ideally in luxury hospitality.
- Hospitality qualification advantageous.
