As a Monitoring Analyst you will support the Compliance Department in ensuring that Propel Finance meets its regulatory, legal, and governance obligations. This role is focused on delivering day‑to‑day monitoring and quality assurance activity, helping to identify risks, ensure controls are effective, and drive improvements across the business.

Role responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing monitoring reports for the Compliance & Monitoring Manager.
  • Make recommendations for enhancements to the monitoring framework as well as potential topics for future thematic reviews.
Compliance Support

  • Contribute to fraud prevention activities.
Governance & Reporting
  • Contribute to MI reporting for internal stakeholders, collating data on monitoring activity and compliance performance.
  • Ensure that monitoring documentation is maintained and up to date.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Take part in training and development opportunities to build knowledge of FCA regulations and assurance skills.
  • Support team initiatives to embed a strong culture of compliance, transparency, and accountability.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in compliance, assurance or risk role within financial services.
  • Good working knowledge of FCA regulation, particularly Consumer Duty, CONC, SYSC and DISP.
  • A-Level qualifications or higher.
  • Proactive and inquisitive approach with a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
