A prestigious educational institution in Leeds is seeking an experienced demand and capacity manager to oversee the forecasting of demand and manage IT resource needs. This critical role within the IT Project Delivery Directorate will ensure effective planning and capacity optimization to meet strategic objectives. You will handle complex data and stakeholder communication while contributing to a diverse portfolio of IT projects. Strong skills in resource planning and conflict management are essential for success in this role.
This role is available to current employees within IT Services at the University of Leeds only.
Are you looking for a role which will contribute to the University delivering global change? Are you an experienced demand and capacity manager, able to manage the forecasting of demand from the business and IT, and communicate capacity requirements through to the delivery units? Can you work with complex data, managing conflict and stakeholders to ensure the right resource is available internally when required to meet customer volume demands and prioritise the strategic objectives of the University?
You will join the IT Project Delivery Directorate, which is responsible for overseeing the delivery of a large and diverse portfolio of IT projects for one of the largest higher education institutions in the UK. This role is critical to the integrated IT directorate’s success.
You will be responsible for determining the resource capacity needed by IT to meet the portfolio of technology change, understanding how the functions operate and planning for future capacity requirements by undertaking planning activities to ensure targets are met and optimising portfolio efficiency.
