This newly created role within our expanding global finance team offers an exceptional opportunity fora nearly ornewly qualified accountant to grow alongside the business. You will play a hands-on role in driving change and transition, establishingprocesses, and preparing forsignificant growth as the company is forecast to double in size next year.

With four entities and a primary function in the UK, this position provides exposure to international accounting, internal controls, and collaboration with third-party providers. As GroupAccountant, you will take ownership ofconsolidatedfinancial statements across all entities, ensure compliance with accounting standards,and deliveraccurate,timelyreporting to support strategic decision-making.

You will also lead initiatives tooptimizeour newly implemented ERP system (Business Central), establishSOPs, and build scalable processes for sustainable growth.This roleprovides excellentexposure to all aspects of finance, with the opportunity to drive continuous improvementand take onproject work where the businessrequires.

This role may require occasional travel to subsidiary locations and offers excellent opportunities for career progression within the finance function.

Your activities will include:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annualconsolidatedfinancial statements for the group.
  • Establish andmaintain the sales commission scheme
  • Manage outsourced finance functions
  • Manage intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
  • Support the AP/AR functions
  • Implement andmaintain internal controls and financial policies.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
  • Assistin budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Support external audits and liaise with auditors.
  • Project work asrequired
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) – nearly or newly qualified considered
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in group accounting or consolidation roles.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and consolidation processes.
  • Advancedproficiencyin Excel, Microsoftsuiteand ERP systems (e.g., Business Central).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communicationand stakeholder management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
