As a Functional Assessor, you’ll conduct assessments and produce fair, evidence‑based reports for individuals applying for Personal Independence Payment (PIP), as part of the DWP’s Health Assessment and Advisory Service (HAAS).
Interview claimants to understand the challenges they face. Carry out detailed assessments through telephone, video, or face‑to‑face appointments to understand how a claimant’s disability, condition, or illness affects their ability to carry out everyday activities in a respectful, fair, and reassuring manner.

Position: Salary £44,000.00; Type: Permanent (Hybrid role); Full time: 40 hours (Mon - Fri 8:30am - 5pm); Location: Croydon (You MUST be located within a 90‑minute radius of the site to be considered for this role).
