Job Title: Fitness Professional, Richmond Villages, Stroud Road, Painswick, Gloucestershire, GL6 6UL

Responsibilities

We make health happen by promoting health, wellness, and an active lifestyle among our residents. Our fitness instructors design and lead engaging exercise programs tailored to the needs and abilities of seniors, helping to improve their physical fitness, mobility, and overall well-being. By fostering a supportive and motivating environment, our fitness instructors enhance the quality of life for our residents, encouraging social interaction and a sense of community.

You\'ll Help Us Make Health Happen By

  • Conducting fitness classes in the Spa, including specialist classes & 1-2-1 for the care floor residents
  • Assisting members in setting and achieving their fitness goals, offering advice and encouragement to each member during their visit
  • Ensuring you\'re aware of every member\'s health status prior to each appointment, ensuring records are updates as necessary
  • Ensuring all Wellness Spa users receive sufficient instruction to ensure safe exercise
  • Supporting membership retention through actively encouraging member participation and promoting a helpful and fun filled atmosphere to encourage repeat visits
  • Always Informing the Wellness Spa Manager of any relevant issues
  • Developing and promoting organised events such as fitness challenges and group activities
  • Supporting the Spa Manager to increase visits and revenue, promoting other services in the spa as required
Key Skills / Qualifications

Previous experience and qualifications in instructing classes is essential as this role requires teaching multiple classes on shift. Previous experience in working in spas or the fitness industry along with pool responder qualification and pool plant experience is desirable. Great patience and customer service with a proactive attitude will succeed in this role.
