Based in Hastings, as a First Aid Instructor, you’ll report to a First Aid Training Team Leader and play a key role in delivering high-quality New Zealand Red Cross (NZRC) first aid courses and other approved training programmes across the Hawkes Bay region. You’ll facilitate engaging, effective courses that meet NZRC standards, policies, and guidelines, ensuring every learner receives the support they need to succeed.

NZRC offers a starting remuneration of circa $64k (pro‑rata to part time hours) with progression of remuneration based on attaining relevant qualifications. Our remuneration comprises of base salary as well as employer contribution to KiwiSaver. While remuneration rates are set to reflect that we are a humanitarian not for profit organisation, we believe our employee leave provision and inclusive culture, provide a highly rewarding work experience.
