I am a lady in my early 50s with Bethlem Myopathy living in the Watnall area of Nottingham. I live in my own home with my husband and my 2 small friendly dogs. I really enjoy cooking, baking and watching Netflix. I already have a team of carers who have supported me for many years and would be a great source of support to anyone new who joins my team. Paid shadowing, training sessions and online training. Access to the blue light card discount scheme. You will be required to support me with personal care, and moving and handling tasks. I use a non‑invasive ventilator at night, and when I need it during the day, which you would be fully trained, and supported with. You will also be required to help with domestic tasks.
I am looking for a reliable, kind, conscientious, friendly professional with a can‑do attitude and good sense of humour. Experience of working in a caring role in someone’s own home is preferable, but not essential, as full training and support will be given.
