Responsibilities
  • Design and execute local marketing and communications plans to support go-to-market strategies
  • Leverage knowledge of multiple tactics and marketing and communications activities in your plans, including, live or virtual events, brand recognition, social media marketing, digital and email lead generation activities, and channel/partner marketing
  • Brief, enable and collaborate with Sales, Clients, IBM Partners and/or internal stakeholders
  • Measure, analyze, and report on the impact of marketing and communications activities
Your role and responsibilities

As a Field Marketing Manager, you’ll build market engagement plans in EMEA North to drive business pipeline and revenue objectives for webMethods & StreamSets based on a deep understanding of clients and the local market. Geography focused role that serves as the face of marketing & communications to clients, sellers, business partners. Externally focused to bring the voice of the client and market insight into IBM. The field M&C professional builds a market engagement plan in a geography to achieve lead offering business pipeline and revenue objectives based on deep understanding of clients and the local market.

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Experience in developing, leading, and executing a strategic marketing plan in close collaboration with sales for the allocated geographies and their respective revenue objectives.
  • Able to implement successful omnichannel marketing campaigns which will boost our performance in lead generation, pipeline creation and pipeline acceleration through to revenue impact.
  • Experience in assessing performance business and marketing and deliver root cause analysis leveraging marketing and campaign-specific performance dashboards and reporting.
  • Being able to analyze situations and implement solutions, or develop new system elements, procedures or processes.
