As our Email Marketing Executive, you’ll help shape Riverford’s future.

We’re looking for a creative, commercially savvy email marketer to bring our brand to life in inboxes every week. You’ll work closely with the CRM Lead to keep customers excited about what’s coming, help them discover new products, and encourage habits that boost sales, strengthen loyalty and support Riverford’s long-term growth.

This role is about more than just sending emails – it’s about telling stories that connect our customers with the food on their table, from what’s growing in the fields to the people behind the produce. You’ll test, tweak and learn as you go, always looking for ways to drive performance and engagement while staying true to our tone of voice.

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Location: Based at Wash Barn, Buckfastleigh, Devon, TQ11 0JU. We’re tucked away in the heart of the countryside, surrounded by fields rather than bus stops. That means you’ll need to live locally and have your own transport to get here.

Hours - 40 hours a week - Monday - Friday. Hybrid working with at least 3 days in the office.

What You’ll Bring…

• Driving engagement and sales through email marketing, including a creative eye for email design and layout.
• Tailoring content and using enhanced personalisation for customer behaviour and needs.
• Understanding of brand consistency and the nuances of brand tone of voice.
• Know-how of when to draw on the expertise of copywriters and designers.
• Competent end-to-end user of a customer engagement platform or similar.
• Be technically capable of segmenting data to target audiences.
• Comfortable in dealing with large volumes of data and spreadsheets.
• Building content plans and curating content.
• An understanding of marketing preferences and adherence to GDPR.
• A desire to think about the strategic impact of activity – a keen eye for commercial goals.
• Basic HTML knowledge.
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite.
