Sustainability Engineering - Summer Placement

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Sustainability student to join our team in Bristol for a Summer Placement, starting in 2026, to work on some of the most exciting sustainable design projects in the UK and around the world.

Working under the guidance and supervision of the experienced team, you’ll develop your existing knowledge and skills in energy modelling and assist with the development of energy and sustainability strategies for new build and existing buildings. You will find yourself working on projects that fall within the following workstreams:

• Building physics and parametric model services
• Building performance and operational energy optimisation
• Certification and compliance
• Health and wellbeing advice and guidance
• Net zero and whole life carbon services
• Sustainability design and ESG services

With the opportunity to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop over time, you’ll be supported and encouraged to work towards Chartership through one of our accredited training schemes.

The Skills

Individuals who are interested in the Summer Placement opportunities that we have available will need to be:
