Role
  • Oversee and develop the cycling programme at Getting Better Together Ltd (GBT). The Trackside Bikes Training and Repair Centre programme delivers a range of cycling services including bike repairs, servicing, loans, retail, and education.
  • Play a key role in delivering outdoor cycling to a range of multidisciplinary groups across North Lanarkshire, working with people of all ages from the most deprived communities.
  • Directly work with disadvantaged children and young people, including those with behavioural needs, Additional Support Needs (ASN), and those who may face barriers to engagement in traditional education or training settings. Provide a supportive and inclusive approach that helps young people build confidence, skills, and positive relationships with learning.
  • Act as an ambassador for cycling and active travel in North Lanarkshire, working closely with the staff team, Getting Better Together, key local stakeholders, schools, and the wider community to promote the benefits of cycling, active travel, and skills development.
