Overview

Join Manchester Foundation Trust Hospital as the Patient Dining Logistics Manager, a vital role dedicated to ensuring the seamless coordination and delivery of all patient meal services across the hospital. Reporting directly to the Head of Catering, you will play a key part in orchestrating efficient logistical operations that guarantee accurate, timely, and safe meal distribution while upholding the highest standards of food safety and patient satisfaction. What You’ll Do

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of meals to all hospital wards
• Maintain high standards of food safety, allergen control, and HACCP compliance
• Oversee ward level meal logistics, including trolley prep, transport, and regeneration
• Manage stock levels for disposables, service items, and hydration supplies
• Lead and develop the catering team, ensuring compliance with Trust and Sodexo standards
• Respond promptly to operational issues such as urgent diet changes, late orders, or equipment failures
• Achieve key performance indicators related to timeliness, efficiency, compliance, and service satisfaction
• Foster strong working relationships with clinical and catering teams
