Love bus driving but ready for something new — without shift work, evenings, or weekends? At Realise, we’re looking for experienced drivers with mentoring experience to help develop the next generation of professionals. You don’t need teaching qualifications to start; if you bring industry experience and a passion for supporting others, we’ll help you gain the rest.
In this Monday to Friday role (typically 08:00 – 16:00 or 09:00 – 17:00), you’ll guide apprentices from enrolment through to end point assessment, delivering training and mentoring across classroom, online, and on-bus settings. It’s your chance to step away from the wheel while still making a meaningful impact in the transport sector.
Responsibilities
- Deliver induction sessions and support apprentices from enrolment through to end point assessment
- Plan and deliver engaging classroom, workshop, online, and practical training
- Provide on-bus mentoring, coaching safe, confident, and professional driving behaviours
- Use your industry experience to bring learning to life with real-world examples
- Personalise support using initial assessment results and learner needs
- Manage a caseload of apprentices, tracking progress and preparing them for end point assessment
- Liaise with employers to support learner attendance, readiness, and performance
- Mark work, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate learner records
- Conduct regular progress reviews and gather feedback from learners and employers
- Maintain high quality standards across all training and administrative activities
- Build positive, supportive relationships that create an inclusive learning environment
- Stay up to date with sector developments, training techniques, and assessment requirements
