Description We are seeking a skilled and client-focused Audit Senior to join our expanding team. As an Audit Senior, you will take a lead role in audit assignments, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards while building strong relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ensure audit files contain all necessary documentation, properly organised in the appropriate sections.
• Analyse accounting data from client records, providing insights and recommendations.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with regulatory, internal audit methodology, and risk management requirements.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with both new and established clients, acting as their trusted advisor.
• Identify and understand client needs, offering tailored solutions and executing them effectively.
• Address client queries promptly and professionally, promoting loyalty and trust.
• Mentor and support junior team members, answering questions and ensuring high-quality work.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver accurate and timely client files and audits.
• Deliver client work in adherence to legal and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and review client documents, including accounts, tax filings, PAYE, and VAT submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines and prepare work for sign-off.
• Drive efficiency and quality by utilising best practices and leveraging available tools and technology.

Key Requirements

• ACA/ACCA qualification is required (part-qualified candidates will also be considered).

• SORP charity experience (Audit and non-Audit experience).
• Newly qualified ACA/ICAS Qualified or overseas equivalent.
• Educated up to degree level or CTS.
• Experience supervising and coaching junior members of staff on site.
• Working knowledge of firm services, issues regarding advice, and regulation and compliance, including anti-money laundering.
• Demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends.
