Overview

The Governing Body of Morland Area C of E Primary School and Mini Morlanders Pre-School are looking to appoint an Early Years Practitioner for our brand new 2-3 year old nursery room.

This post is temporary fixed for a year, in the first instance, due to uncertainty around pupil numbers.

Westmorland and Furness Grade, PCD7 FTE Salary £27,711 (A) pro rata. Hours full time – 45 hours per week, over 5 days. This is a term time only position. The opportunity to job share this role is available.

  • A genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to plan, deliver and monitor children’s learning and development according to their individual needs and achievements.
  • Relevant childcare qualifications (Minimum Level 3).
  • Experience in a childcare setting (experience with 2-3s preferred).
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake pre-employment checks, including a satisfactory enhanced DBS check (to include a children’s barred list check), references, and Right to Work in the UK.
