A leading project delivery specialist is recruiting for a SHEQ Engineer based in Sunderland or Adlington. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety management systems and promote a culture of safety. Responsibilities include driving SHEQ system improvements, managing operational KPIs, and conducting audits. Ideal candidates will have an HNC/HND in a related discipline and demonstrable experience in a SHEQ role. Qualifications

• Experience in a SHEQ or similar engineering role.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Certification in Safety - NEBOSH or similar.

Responsibilities

• Drive the implementation and improvement of SHEQ management systems.
• Support collation of annual ESG reporting.
• Conduct audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance.

Skills

Experience in a SHEQ or similar engineering role

Proficient in MS Office

Understanding of ISO standards

Education

HNC/HND qualified in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related discipline

Tools

SHEQ reporting tools/software
