A leading energy company based in Scotland is seeking a Senior Drilling Engineer to manage the operational planning and execution of wells decommissioning projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in well engineering, be focused on delivery, and possess excellent communication skills. Certification by a recognised Well Control Authority and offshore medical is required. The role is hybrid, with in-office presence needed for four days a week. Required to manage operational planning and execution for a wells decommissioning workscope, ensuring a safe and efficient outcome.
Duration: c 8 months
Location: Aberdeen based. Ad hoc offshore travel may be required

Spirit Energy currently have a non-contractual hybrid working arrangement for all office-based workers (Barrow & UK). 4 days must be worked in the office with compulsory days being Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The fourth day worked in-office (either Monday or Friday) is of the worker’s choosing but should be in keeping with what is most efficient and effective for their team. The office is open 5 days a week for full time, in-office working if this is the contractor’s preference.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Candidates must be fully certified by a recognised Well Control Authority e.g. Level 4 IWCF, WELLCAP.
Offshore medical, survival and MIST certification
