Technical and Operations# Instrumentation and Monitoring EngineerLocation+ Wallingford, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom**Job Description****Work Environment:** This is a combination of site-based and office-based role.**Working Hours:** Full-time, 40 hours a week.**Your role and responsibilities:****Expectations & Deliverables:*** Ensure all instrumentation and monitoring components are operational and compliant with project deliverables and regulations.* Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to ensure seamless data capture and connectivity.* Work collaboratively with the office team to ensure timely generation of installation reports and data processing to the client.* Maintain high standards of quality in monitoring data and systems.* Proactive mind set towards QHSSE**Responsibilities:*** Installation, commissioning, inspection, and testing of instruments and sensors.* Align tasks with method statements, risk assessments, policies, and industry best practices.* Address challenges escalated by site staff and provide proactive solutions.* Manage the procurement cycle for sensors and instruments.* Coordinate with the Project Manager on essential project plans.* Data processing and reporting**What you’ll need to thrive in this role:*** Degree in Survey, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.* Strong leadership and organisational skills.* Excellent communication skills and proactive problem-solving abilities.* Experience with innovative technologies in instrumentation and monitoring.* Willingness to travel regularly for project and hold a UK manual gear driving license.*Who we are* *What we offer*Fugro provides a positive work environment as well as projects that will satisfy the most curious minds.
