Qualifications

• Proven experience in compliance or risk within regulated financial services, preferably in insurance.
• A compliance qualification such as ICA, CII, or an internal audit qualification.
• Strong working knowledge of the FCA Handbook & reporting platforms, UK GDPR, and operational controls.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Act as an enabler for the Insurance business, balancing commercial priorities with regulatory requirements.
• Own and deliver the risk-based compliance monitoring programme and annual compliance plan.
• Lead delivery of FCA obligations and ensure effective governance including policies and controls.
