A public health organization is seeking a Facilities Management Assistant for a critical domestic role in Sefton. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Estates and Facilities Department for an enthusiastic team member for a Facilities Management Assistant (FMA) Domestic.
The post is suited to a motivated and experienced Domestic services worker to work across Maghull Health Park, which includes Ashworth High Secure Hospital, Rowan View Medium Secure & Aspen Wood Low Secure.
The postholder(s) will provide a cleaning/house‑keeping service around Secure Division ensuring National cleaning standards, PLACE requirements and CQC standards are met.
The provision of a high quality professional centred service ensuring all policies and procedures and standards are adhered to.
To work to a high standard to meet national Standards.
Work as part of a team working flexible hours to deliver cleaning cover throughout the year.
Work to an agreed cleaning schedule and complete relevant documentation.
Responsible for ensuring all cleaning equipment and cleaning agents are available.

NHS experience and training in safety, health and catering or cleaning tasks.
Experience of working in a similar role (cleaning or catering).
Experience of working in the NHS.
Knowledge of the National Standards of Cleanliness and NHS Colour Coding.
Experience of dealing with people.
The postholder will have regular contact with vulnerable people and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
