A vibrant hospitality brand in Penrith is seeking a LINE COOK / JUNIOR CHEF DE PARTIE to prepare and present menu items while assisting Kitchen Managers in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Kitchen Assistant and strong communication skills, thriving in a team-oriented culture that prioritizes diversity and inclusion. In this role, you will prepare, cook and present menu items to agreed standards. You will assist the Kitchen Managers with the general supervision and coaching of the Kitchen Assistants and deputise for the Kitchen Managers in their absence, maintaining the smooth running of the kitchen.
Working straight shifts, you will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Shifts fall between 1.30pm and 10.20pm, Monday to Sunday.
As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.
