Shift

Mon – Fri, 50 hrs/week

Main Duties / Responsibilities

• Operating commercial vehicles
• Load and unload goods
• Making sure loads are safely secured
• Following traffic reports and adapting routes if necessary
• Carrying out basic routine maintenance
• Completing delivery paperwork, PDA, walk‑around check or any documentation
• Following compliance, Tacho Master and other regulations and laws that are applicable

Requirements – Technical Skills

• A valid HGV licence
• Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations
• Ability to operate HGVs safely and efficiently
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
• Familiarity with GPS systems and other tracking devices

The Successful Candidate Will

• Be present with a positive and can‑do attitude
• Be flexible and reliable
• Have a minimum of 1 year experience of driving HGV
• Have great communication skills
• Be able to provide a clean basic Criminal Record Check prior to start date (obtained within 26 weeks)
• Provide a full 5‑year checkable history
• Hold a clean driving licence (if the position requires it)
• Hold valid DQC and up to date CPC
