Overview

C3 AI is hiring Directors/Senior Directors, Strategic Solutions - Energy. This is a quota carrying sales role which will allow you to further develop your career. As a Director of Strategic Solutions, you will target and work with customers and senior management to develop and sell high-value AI use cases and AI application roadmaps, helping customers achieve their digital transformation objectives by identifying high-value opportunities. The position requires the ability to understand complex issues at the intersection of business and technology and to communicate that complexity with clarity, positioning and selling the value proposition. Candidates should thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance, highly collaborative environment and possess technical fluency in AI, machine learning, operations research, physics, math, engineering, data integration, or computer science.

Location: London, England, United Kingdom (as listed in the posting). Travel expectations may apply up to 50% of the time depending on business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Consult with global 1000 customers to help them understand, structure, and implement their digital transformation strategies resulting into sales.
  • Engage in strategic relationships with customers to assure the realization of their digital transformation goals and expanding the client footprint.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage the implementation of strategic customer engagement plans.
  • Manage efforts to research and identify customer prospects and targets.
  • Collaborate with engineering, products, and marketing teams to develop new product offerings within existing and new lines of business.
  • Represent C3 AI by driving business development with company alliance partners.
  • Personally engage in strategic account selling, business development, and ongoing customer success.
  • Travel to customer sites up to 50% of the time (or more) depending on business needs.
Qualifications
  • Degree in engineering, science, computer science, or related technical field of study. Master’s or MBA degree preferred.
  • Prior sales experience in SaaS/Product company and management consulting experience.
  • Experience with and understanding of AI and Machine Learning is highly favorable.
  • Proven track record of success in sales with focus on selling SaaS solutions to the Energy sector (i.e. Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Power Transmission, Renewables).
  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
