  • Previous experience gained in a similar role.
  • Computerliterate with strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other design-basedsoftware such as AutoCAD and TEDDS.
  • Workingknowledge of Regulations.
  • Construction/Design Experience.
  • Ideally qualified to degree or HND/HNC standard.

  • Assist the Design Manager to deliver high quality designs to budget and programme.
  • Monitor, co-ordinate, and manage the design by external designer, as appropriate.
  • Build strong working relationships with the design and construction teams and coordinate with themto deliver integrated, buildable and maintainable designs with all deliverables issued on time.
  • Review submissions as directed for quality and compliance with design standards.
  • Monitor, track and report on design progress against the project programme.
  • Update design trackers on an ongoing basis.
  • Produce minutes and schedules for Design Meetings.
  • Assist the wider engineering team members as required with engineering input.
  • Ensure that the CDE is being utilised correctly by stakeholders.
