Qualifications

  • Awareness of Nuclear Licensing/Authorisation, REPPIR and the Civil Contingencies Act.
  • Proven risk assessment capability.
  • Ability to design and deliver emergency response training packages.
  • A flexible, enthusiastic and committed approach with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, review and continual improvement of on‑site emergency arrangements and plans.
  • Develop risk assessments and scenarios to inform preparedness, response and recovery activities.
  • Maintain emergency planning documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and site requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure integrated, tested and effective arrangements.
