With over 100 members, the Employer Consulting team specialising in varying disciplines such as Pensions, Benefits and Management consulting, as well as Workplace engagement and is a growing business area.

We are seeking a DC Consultant to join our Employer Consulting Team, ideally in London, Cheltenham, Bristol, Birmingham, Liverpool or Manchester (hybrid working between the home and the office).

As an experienced DC specialist, you will ideally be level 4 qualified (CII / PMI / FCA) and have experience providing consultancy services and advice to employers and trustee bodies on matters relating to DC pensions arrangements. You role will be to support the Senior Client Relationship Manager and will include, but is not limited to, running meetings, signing out advice papers, coaching junior staff, delivering non advised 1 to 1 sessions, presentations and so on.

A snapshot of your day:

  • Leading meetings with employees, clients and senior stakeholders
  • Providing clients with information on relevant new and existing products and services
  • Coaching and assisting in the development of Analysts and Client Support Staff
  • Assisting in acquiring new business as required and discussing opportunities with CRMs for client account development
  • Introducing other business streams of Employer Consulting where appropriate
  • Analysing information and suggest appropriate solutions
  • Arranging “beauty parades” of providers
  • Assisting clients to make informed decisions
  • In conjunction with the CRM, agreeing specifications of services, deadlines and remuneration with clients
  • Making presentations to groups of employees, to clients; senior management or for marketing purposes – internal and external
  • Working in accordance with the firm’s internal procedures and in accordance with FCA and other regulations

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Consultants will ideally be qualified to CII Diploma or Pensions Management Institute equivalent however we do not wish for this to be a barrier over experience
  • Experience of Defined Contribution Pensions is essential
  • Experience with wellbeing benefits such as private medical insurance, health protection or group risk is an advantage but is not required
