Job description
Data Solutions Engineer - IIG
Salary range £28,000 - £31,000
The Data Solutions Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining SharePoint infrastructure and other Microsoft Office 365 applications within the INRIX Incident Group. This role involves workflow and tooling tasks related to data delivery and transformation.
This position is crucial for ensuring INRIX’s traffic incident data product remains market-leading through the integration of Office 365 applications, workflows, and other technologies.
What We Are Looking For:
Required:
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions
  • Experience with Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculated columns, measures, and custom tables within Power BI
  • Experience with SharePoint, PowerApps, and MS Flow
  • Experience with QGIS to view and analyze geospatial data
  • Experience with Python for data wrangling and cleaning tasks
  • Flexibility to change working hours as required by operational needs
Highly Desirable:
  • Experience scripting to scrape data from websites into a database
  • Experience creating POST API requests using Postman
Desirable:
  • Experience building full-stack applications with demonstrable project examples
