Job description

We’re looking for a CX Researcher to join the Strategy and Experience team to work on an exciting research project helping one of the biggest brands deliver amazing experiences for its customers across European markets.

In this role you will independently run research studies across European markets, identify insights and turn them into action plans.

The role would suit someone who already has experience running moderated usability testing, feels confident planning and scoping user testing, and is also keen to explore other types of research such as user interviews, and surveys.

As with all Cheil roles this is a 1-year fixed term contract with a view to be extended. We are looking for someone to join us from early January.

What the day to day looks like…
  • Leading research studies with a strong focus on usability testing
  • Using research tools to conduct usability testing, analyse findings and create compelling insights presentations
  • Collaborating closely with designers and client stakeholders to define research requirements, shape wireframes and prototypes for testing
  • Identifying the most compelling and relevant insights and making actionable recommendations
  • Consolidating insights from different sources (qual, and quant) to build a more comprehensive understanding of the key customer problems
  • Disseminating research insights and learnings to the wider Cheil team
Experience
  • A few years' experience leading usability testing studies
  • Some experience or interest in leading unmoderated studies, focus groups, user interviews
  • Strong ability to translate research insights into strategic recommendations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to define research requirements
  • Experience translating research requirements into a research plan including writing discussion guides, creating usability tasks and defining recruitment criteria
  • Experience in e-commerce (in-house or agency)
  • Knowledge of design thinking principles
  • Familiarity with research platforms such as Lookback, Usertesting.com, Askable is a plus
  • Knowledge of other European languages is a plus – German, Spanish, Italian, French
  • Proactive, ambitious and curious – keen to make an impact and deliver outstanding research work that will help shape seamless customer experiences for brands such as Samsung
  • Excited about the future of e-commerce and familiar with the trends shaping it
