Salary: From £33,050

Location: London Store Support Centre and Home, London, EC1M 6HA

We are recruiting managers for convenience stores across the London Leicester Square area. If you apply, we will review your CV and invite you to an interview at one of our shops.

What you’ll be doing
  • Work closely with a small team of managers to ensure the store runs like clockwork every day.
  • Take responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of the store, often being the only manager on site with full accountability.
  • Collaborate with the team to complete all tasks, ensuring customers are served efficiently and safely.
  • Manage people: performance and capability, conduct disciplinaries, and ensure accurate scheduling and pay.
  • Support other convenience stores when needed as part of our close‑knit network.
What makes a great customer & trading manager
  • Previous line‑management responsibilities in a fast‑paced, operational environment.
  • Provides brilliant customer service and coaches a team to do the same.
  • Delivers KPI’s or other performance indicators.
  • Can manage disciplinaries, performance issues, or other employee‑relations issues.
  • Leads operations and is comfortable doing this alone in the absence of senior management.
  • Track record of delivering excellent customer service and coaching colleagues.
  • Experience of motivating others, driving performance, and keeping operations running smoothly.
  • Operational leadership skills and responsibility for store operations when senior managers absent.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs – sales, availability, customer satisfaction, colleague engagement.
  • Strong employee‑relations background – performance and absence management.
Essential Criteria
  • A track record of delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues.
  • Experience leading a team in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
  • Operational leadership skills and experience taking responsibility for store operations without senior managers.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs in sales, availability, or customer satisfaction.
  • Experience managing employee‑relations issues, including performance and absence management.
