The Project Executive is responsible for ensuring success and completion of CTS projects, supporting the Project Manager, liaising with customers and suppliers to guarantee complete satisfaction. To support our Clinical Trial Services (CTS) department using solid project management and key account management skills to successfully see a project through to completion and to achieve Clinical Trial Supply (CT) group sales target (AOP).

Role Accountabilities

Expected Responsibilities for the CTS Project Executive are:

Customer Account and Sales Operation Management

  • Provide proactive communication and excellent customer service to build and nurture client loyalty, trust, and satisfaction.
  • Working with the Project Managers and Snr Director to ensure the accurate and successful delivery of CTS projects against agreed KPIs and timeframes.
  • Prompt effective response time for internal and external communication.
  • Effective handling of all sales activities from order enquiry through to shipment.
  • Resolve queries and complaints in accordance with TPG SOPS or inform PM and Snr CTS Director in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with vendors to elevate competitive advantage through value and sourcing solutions.
  • Develop and maintain CTS Vendor database.
  • Liaise with customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects.
  • Complete sales activities including sourcing enquiries, quotes and order execution.
  • Ensure all Customer records and Trackers are accurate and up to date with all CT projects and related information.
  • Maintain all documents used to aid internal communication and reporting are accurate and up to date.
  • Ensure all logistical aspects of project delivery are communicated in a timely and accurate manner with the necessary department.
  • Ensure compliance and traceability opposite product integrity throughout the procurement/project supply chain.
  • Ensure all license documentation and QA related activities are in place and being managed opposite CT orders and project delivery.
  • Ensure any risks identified are escalated to the PM and Senior Director in a timely manner.
  • Work within current quality, regulatory and Company requirements.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure that all financial aspects of project delivery are communicated in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Work closely with all departments within the organization.
  • Understand and work within the constraints of customs, import and export regulations for global shipping and complete necessary shipping documents.

Desired Candidate Profile & Capabilities

Required:

  • Local to the St Albans area and able to travel into the office (located in Redbourn).
  • Bachelors or equivalent experience.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with project management tools, Microsoft Teams etc.
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor in a Results-Focused work environment.
  • Ideally with a year’s experience as a clinical trial associate.
  • Customer Orientation: The ability to demonstrate concern for satisfying one’s external and/or internal customers.
  • Problem-solving: Able to handle difficult or unexpected situations in the workplace as well as complex business challenges.
