Qualifications

  • Familiarity with General Arrangement drawings is advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence required.

Job description

Orona is a leading European business group specialising in sustainable vertical transportation, delivering value across design, manufacture, installation, maintenance, and modernisation of lifts and escalators.

We are looking for a Contract Manager to join our London Installation team, overseeing installation contracts from sales handover to project completion and driving project performance and profitability.

Responsibilities
  • Managing multiple installation projects of various sizes and revenue streams.
  • Managing direct and subcontract labor, materials and the finances of the project from start to completion.
  • Ensuring final testing, commissioning and handover are completed in line with timescales set by the client.
  • Maintaining customer relationships to ensure that targets and timescales are achieved and that all parties involved are fully informed at key stages of the process.
  • Supervising direct reports and dealing with any issues that arise, while ensuring accurate management reports on bespoke systems regarding job progress and forecasts are completed diligently and in a timely manner.
  • Using contractual awareness to minimise risk and maximise revenue via additional variation work on each project.
Qualifications

Preferably with experience as a contracts manager or project manager on a complex and diverse range of projects, ideally from within the lift or construction industry. Experience with PRINCE II or equivalent project management qualifications, and familiarity with General Arrangement drawings, is advantageous. Ability to plan, prioritise, order and assign tasks, and effectively train and pass on knowledge to others, is required.
