You’ll contribute to our fashion, home, and beauty campaigns by crafting copy that feels as sharp as top agency work. You’ll also understand the realities of a fast‑paced in‑house team. From first concept to final line, you’ll develop how our campaigns appear across channels, keeping everything bold and on brand.

What you will be doing
  • Take charge of campaign copy for fashion, home, and beauty – from initial concepts and messaging frameworks through to final executions.
  • Turn creative briefs into compelling, commercially‑minded storytelling that captures attention and drives action.
  • Write across channels, including CRM, paid and organic social, digital campaigns, point of sale, and more – adapting effortlessly to each platform.
  • Champion our tone of voice, ensuring every word feels unmistakably M&S.
  • Collaborate closely with creative and brand marketing teams to bring ideas to life and deliver cohesive, high‑performing work.
  • Craft engaging, high‑converting copy, balancing creativity with commercial clarity.
  • Use data and insight to refine messaging, learning from results to continually elevate our copy.
  • Stay attuned to industry trends and guidelines, with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
Who you are
  • 6+ years’ experience in copywriting, ideally within fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands.
  • Proven experience writing campaign copy – either in an agency or in‑house role where you’ve delivered big ideas across multiple channels.
  • Outstanding writing and editing skills, with a strong ability to sense tone, rhythm, and storytelling.
  • Experience crafting copy for fashion, home, or beauty campaigns across digital, social, and CRM.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, growing in a cross‑functional, creative setting.
  • An understanding of performance metrics and a curiosity for how great copy can get results.
  • A genuine passion for brand, creativity, and craft – with the confidence to push work from good to great.
  • Stellar writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Expert in clear, concise, imaginative copywriting.
