Eligibility

Employment is subject to at least two satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS.

Applicants must be 18 years or over, hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a suitable vehicle.

Work Location

Pembrokeshire Care covers all areas of Pembrokeshire. This role is predominantly for the Pembroke Team, but coverage in other areas such as Haverfordwest and Milford Haven may be required from time to time.

Shift Patterns

• Shifts are a combination of morning/lunch and afternoon/evening shifts.
• Part‑time candidates are welcome (25 hours a week over 2 days).

Experience

Whether you have previous support worker experience or are new to health and social care, we want to hear from you.

We provide support through our Social Care Induction and help with registration as a professional Social Care Worker.

You will need a driving licence and your own car.

Community Carer Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the physical and emotional well‑being and social needs of customers.
• Promote independence and maintain high levels of dignity and respect.
• Assist customers with personal care such as washing, hygiene, dressing and meals.
• Administer medication.
• Transfer customers using safe moving and handling techniques and approved equipment.
• Prepare light meals and snacks.
• Liaise with your Team Leader as required.
• Maintain accurate records of all care provided through a mobile application.
