What you’ll be doing
  • Leading the development and delivery of commercial strategies in a fast moving, high growth market.
  • Coaching, motivating and developing a high performing team of Quantity surveyors.
  • Owning contract negotiation & ongoing contract management
  • Driving financial performance through accurate forecasting and identifying value-adding opportunities.
  • Managing commercial risk across the full project lifecycle.
  • Working collaboratively with finance, legal, procurement, engineering, and project delivery teams.
  • Building strong trusted partnerships with clients, funders, developers, and colleagues across the wider Emtec Group.
What we’re looking for
  • 5+ years in a commercial role within energy, utilities, construction, or infrastructure
  • A confident negotiator with strong financial and contractual understanding.
  • A strategic thinker with sharp analytical skills and the ability to spot risks and opportunities early.
  • Someone who’s comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Business, Finance, Law, Engineering or a related field.
  • Additional qualifications such as MRICS, MCIPS or MBA would be a bonus but not a requirement.
