Cleaning Operative

Location: Fife-KY8 5RL

Hours: 38 hours

Shift Patterns: Monday- Friday (12:00-19:00)

Rate Of Pay: £13.45 plus Sodexo rewards and benefits

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and diligent Cleaner to join our team at the Diageo Fife Cluster. This is a lone working role, meaning you will be responsible for working independently to clean and service designated areas to the highest standards, as set by our client and Sodexo.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean all allocated areas efficiently and in a timely manner, meeting required standards.
  • Use cleaning chemicals safely, following COSHH guidelines.
  • Ensure safety signs are used appropriately at all times.
  • Keep cleaning stores tidy, well-stocked, and ensure equipment is stored safely.
  • Comply with all security regulations for cleaning materials, equipment, and buildings.
  • Report any potential hazards or health & safety infringements to the Cleaning Supervisor.
  • Maintain all cleaning equipment in safe working order.
  • Adhere to all company and client policies, including Health & Safety, hygiene, cleanliness, fire safety, and COSHH.
  • Wear correct PPE at all times, including safety shoes.
About You
Essential
  • Previous cleaning experience.
  • Experience working to a cleaning schedule.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively.
Desirable
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ, BICS, COPCS, COSHH).
  • Experience working within a team.
  • Experience in a similar environment or industry.
