Job description

Join to apply for the Change & Transformation Project Manager role at IRIS Software Group

We’re looking for a confident, organised Project Manager who loves improving processes, delivering real results, and keeping even the most complex projects under control.

If you enjoy taking ownership, bringing structure to busy teams, and making things work better for everyone, this role will suit you perfectly.

You’ll start by leading major Migration projects, and you’ll play a key role in our wider automation and AI programmes as we reduce manual work and introduce better tools across the business.

This is hands‑on project delivery. A place for someone who can roll up their sleeves, handle tough conversations when needed, and keep people focused on what matters.

Why This Role Matters

Your work will directly improve how our organisation operates.

You’ll help teams move away from manual processes, work more efficiently, and adopt smarter ways of working – supported by automation, AI, and technology‑driven improvements.

You’ll be right at the heart of major change, working closely with our internal teams and a trusted third‑party partner.

About the Team You'll Join

You’ll join our Programme team within Change & Transformation, working with experienced Project Managers, Programme Managers, Business Analysts, and specialists across the business.

It’s a collaborative team where people support each other and share a real passion for well‑run projects.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead the delivery of Migration and automation‑focused projects from start to finish
  • Bring clarity and structure to multi‑team work – using Agile, Waterfall, or a blend of both
  • Run discovery workshops, gather requirements, and shape project plans
  • Track progress, milestones, dependencies, and delivery risks
  • Work closely with a third‑party provider and internal stakeholders to keep everything moving
  • Produce clear status updates and programme reporting
  • Step in quickly when things drift off track and get them back into alignment
  • Make sure the wider business understands upcoming changes
  • Promote better, leaner processes across teams
  • Use project tools like Asana, Jira, or Monday.com to keep teams aligned
  • Keep documentation structured, simple, and genuinely useful
  • Bring a problem‑solving, sleeves‑rolled‑up mindset every day.
What We’re Looking For

We want someone who can take ownership, stay calm under pressure, and keep projects moving – even when stakeholders are tough or priorities compete.

You'll need:

  • Experience leading large or complex projects
  • Background in Migration projects OR highly structured environments like finance
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence working with senior and challenging stakeholders
  • Experience improving processes and using data to support decisions
  • A tech‑savvy mindset – comfortable with automation, AI or keen to learn
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery
  • Familiarity with project tools (Asana, Jira, Monday.com, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence others
Bonus
  • Lean or Six Sigma experience
  • Exposure to RPA or automation tools
  • A degree or recognised project management certification.
What You’ll Gain
  • A leading role in projects that genuinely change how we operate
  • Experience across automation, AI, and new technology
  • Opportunities to grow within a busy, forward‑thinking transformation team
  • Visibility across senior stakeholders and large programmes
  • A workplace that values straightforward communication, ownership, and collaboration
Our Application Process

We like to keep things simple, transparent, and fair:

  • A chat with our Talent team.
  • CCAT (15‑minute timed test).
  • Interview with our Programme Management team (MS Teams).

If you’re a proactive Project Manager who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and delivering meaningful change, we’d love you to join us.
