We are currently recruiting for a Catering Manager based at Southern Regional College, Newry West. This is a great opportunity to join a world‑leading facilities management company.
Working Pattern
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Term time position
  • 07:30 – 15:30

The Role
  • Ensure all food is prepared and cooked to an exceptional standard and that HACCP regulations are adhered to (if required).
  • Prepare and ready the service counter for service.
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service consistently to all facility users.
  • Work as part of the team to ensure service is delivered on time and to the highest possible standard.
  • Complete any requested administration, including recording food temperatures, updating cleaning schedules, cashing up tills and recording daily sales figures in the system.
  • Complete bookkeeping procedures in line with company requirements, including purchasing, cash handling, banking and management of the weekly estimated trading account (ETA).
  • Report defective equipment, utensils, work and floor surfaces to the relevant Head Office department.
  • Ensure opening and closing of all food outlets are carried out in accordance with company procedures.

  • Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, proficiency in computer literacy and the ability to understand safety and work instructions and communicate with customers on a day‑to‑day basis.
