Role Summary

UK Connect is seeking a proactive and highlyorganised Business Operations Team Leader to oversee daily operational workflows and ensure compliance with key certifications. In this pivotal role, you’ll manage Halo ticket queues, allocate tasks across the team, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll also take ownership of maintaining ISO9001 and Health & Safety certifications, ensuring our business processes are efficient, compliant, and consistently audited for effectiveness.

About You

As a highly organised and detail-focused professional, you’ll bring proven success in managing operational workflows and leading teams in fast-paced environments. You’re confident in prioritising workloads, balancing compliance requirements with day-to-day operations, and ensuring outstanding accuracy in every task. With strong leadership and auditing skills, you know how to stay one step ahead—proactively identifying areas for improvement and ensuring certifications remain up to date.

Key Responsibilities
  • Halo ticket management: Monitor and manage ticket queues, allocate tasks to team members, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Team leadership: Provide guidance, support, and oversight to the operations team, fostering accountability and collaboration.
  • Certification management: Maintain and update ISO9001 certification records, as well as Health & Safety certifications.
  • Process auditing: Conduct regular audits of business processes to ensure compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Continuous improvement: Update records and implement improvements to enhance operational performance and compliance standards.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to the head of business operations on operational performance, certification status, and audit outcomes.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Skills
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 standards and Health & Safety compliance

  • Experience with ticketing systems (Halo or similar)
