Business Development Manager page is loaded## Business Development Managerlocations: Nottingham: Leicesterposted on: Posted 6 Days Agojob requisition id: JR101059**Job Summary:**We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Business Development Manager to join our National Business Development team.Based primarily out of our Nottingham and Leicester offices, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, delivering revenue growth, and expanding our mid-market and corporate client base across the East Midlands.This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in generating and delivering new business.**Key responsibilities*** Support the firm in the delivery of its 5-year strategy* Create, manage and deliver new initiatives to drive growth and revenue across the region* Identify, develop and pursue new business and cross selling opportunities across new and existing clients* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to support lead generation* Coach, mentor, constructively challenge and support key stakeholders within the firm on BD best practice* Work closely with regional Partners and Directors to design and deliver innovative products and services that strengthen existing relationships and unlock new business opportunities* Attend business/networking functions and provide feedback and information on market trends* Build strong, work generating, relationships with new and existing intermediaries* Support and manage BD pipelines, including CRM updates and reporting* Plan and deliver BD campaigns, seminars, webinars, and networking events* Coordinate with the PR, digital, and marketing teams to maximise campaign impact**Skills and experience*** Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to business development* Strong understanding of the UK corporate, mid–market and SME business environments* Demonstrable success in revenue enhancing business development, within a commercial/professional services environment* Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels* An entrepreneurial approach to business development, able to generate new routes to market* Experience in dealing with senior management and multiple stakeholder engagement* Excellent project management and prioritisation skills* Commercially astute and conscious of profitable targets/opportunities* Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics), MS Office, and digital toolsAble to brief Marketing and PR functions regarding campaigns and design, have an eye for detail, and write compelling copy for collateral# # **Smart.
