Bid Co‑ordinator

RPS, a Tetra Tech company, invites applications for the Bid Co‑ordinator position within our Bid Management team in Birmingham (hybrid).

About the Team

The role sits within our central bid team, supporting the UK and Ireland Consulting business. We deliver end‑to‑end bid management for major strategic bids and collaborate across a network of offices to provide guidance and best practice.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Ownership of smaller scale bids and fee proposals, working with technical bid owners.
  • Assisting Bid Managers in major submissions by owning individual bid elements.
  • Producing and owning bid plans and supporting documents.
  • Arranging bid gateway and progress meetings.
  • Using InDesign to create on‑brand documents.
  • Developing value proposition / win themes where appropriate.
  • Contributing to the written proposal, especially the Executive Summary.
  • Editing and proofreading bid inputs.
  • Supporting broader business development activities as required.
  • Monitoring the bid team inbox for enquiries.
  • Identifying gaps, drafting improvements for sign‑off and maintaining the Bid Library.
  • Reviewing and editing project sheets to improve content and liaise with Project Managers.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience delivering significant or complex bids with multiple technical contributors.
  • Knowledge of bidding best practice and public procurement.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly.
  • Attention to detail and compliance with tender requirements.
  • Confidence to challenge constructively and influence outcomes.
  • Strong problem‑solving ability and calm under pressure.
  • Impeccable organisational and project management skills.
