We have a fantastic opportunity for a Bank General Practitioner to join our healthcare team at HMP Leicester, a category B remand prison based close to Leicester town centre and train station. The Prison houses around 408 male patients, the majority of whom are aged between 18-40 years of age.
HMP Leicester runs a nurse lead service, you will be working with an experienced and supportive multi-disciplinary team including an substance misuse specialist NMP. Your role will be focused on supporting patients with substance misuse and acute needs, suitable applicant must have experience and feel confident prescribing controlled substance.
Monday to Friday 8 am-8.30pm
Saturday 2pm-6pm
However most sessions offered will be evenings
This is a bank role with an hourly salary of £88
