Job summary

A leading provider of support services for armed forces in the UK is seeking an IT Systems Engineer (Cloud) to design and deploy secure Azure infrastructure, manage cloud resources, and implement automation using Infrastructure as Code tools. Ideal candidates should have over 3 years of experience in Microsoft Azure and relevant certifications, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills. This permanent role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 plus excellent benefits.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in cloud environments, primarily Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
  • Eligible for BPSS & SC clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Build secure, scalable Azure infrastructure and services.
  • Oversee Azure resources across compute, storage, networking, identity, and security.
  • Implement best practices for security, patching, and vulnerability management.
