Are you a hands-on, detail-oriented technician with a passion for cutting-edge aerospace technology? We are seeking anAIT Skilled Production Technicianto join an innovative team manufacturing high-altitude, long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This is an exciting opportunity to work on state-of-the-art stratospheric aircraft and ground support systems.

Overview

You will play a key role in manufacturing advanced UAV platforms to time, cost, and quality standards. This includes the installation and integration of avionic and mechanical systems, the production of in-house avionic components, and ensuring the highest levels of precision and safety throughout the build process.

Responsibilities
  • Install avionic and mechanical equipment, wiring, and system integration on UAV platforms.
  • Manufacture avionic components as required.
  • Maintain accurate build records and self-certify completed work.
  • Follow health and safety processes and report any issues.
  • Handle fragile and flexible components with care.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, problem-solving, and corrective actions.
  • Conduct and document installation and system integration tests.
Requirements
  • Multi-skilled avionic/electronic engineering technician with hands-on experience.
  • Strong knowledge of production and maintenance processes to high-quality standards.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and translate them into finished products.
