About the Water Group

Buro Happold’s Water Group provide consultancy services from ‘cloud to coast’ including water resource management, river engineering, flood risk management, coastal and maritime engineering. We work across all stages of design, from masterplanning through to detailed design, on UK and international projects. Responsibilities

The successful applicant will provide project leadership and technical delivery of flood risk management and river engineering services within the Water Group. The role will be based in our London office and will include the following areas of work:

• Flood risk assessment and management
• Hydrological and hydraulic modelling

Key client relationships.

Your skills and experience

• Technical background in water engineering, covering at least two of the listed areas above.
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience working on water projects outside of the UK would be advantageous.
• Experience of resource management and leading project teams.
• Take responsibility for commercial performance of projects.
• Show strong personal leadership.
• Be a strong advocate for raising quality of deliverables.
• Chartered Engineer with not less than three years post‑professional qualification.
