About the Role

As an Associate CFD Consultant, you’ll apply advanced computational fluid dynamics to solve real‑world engineering problems. You’ll support senior consultants, run detailed simulations, and help transform complex flow data into clear, actionable insights for clients across sectors and for a range of projects.

About You

We are seeking someone who is passionate about fluid dynamics, excited by technical challenges, and eager to help shape innovative engineering solutions. You are personable, a self‑starter with the ability to project a positive “can‑do” professional attitude at all times, while maintaining good working relationships. You enjoy working collaboratively across disciplines and establishing excellent rapport within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and implement CFD analyses for sustainable buildings
  • Run CFD simulations to analyse, validate and optimise engineering designs
  • Take a lead role in delivery and project management as required for large and complex projects
  • Coordinate with internal and external project teams
  • Mentor and develop junior colleagues
  • Manage budget, resources, project progress and support proposal development
  • Undertake quality assurance of modelling works and associated reports
  • Stay on top of the latest CFD and modelling techniques to push innovation internally
Required Qualifications
  • A degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerodynamics, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics or similar
  • Strong experience with commercial CFD tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, CFX, OpenFOAM, STAR‑CCM+ 6SigmaRoom)
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in CFD modelling
  • Sound knowledge of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics
  • Experience with complex construction projects (Data Centres, Offices, Labs, Railways, Tunnel Ventilation Systems, HVAC, etc.)
  • Successfully delivered and produced reports in CFD modelling
