Assistant Greenkeeper

Duxbury Park Golf Club, Chorley

Would you like a job working in golf? Then we have got a fantastic opportunity, available to start January 2026. Located in Chorley, Duxbury Park Golf Course is much more than just a golf venue. We have an 18-hole golf course laid out over 120 acres of beautiful rolling Lancashire countryside and is regarded as one of the best public courses in the North West. We also have a clubhouse, 9-bay Top Tracer driving range, 12-hole adventure golf course with kids play area and walled garden areas.

The Opportunity

• Reporting to the Head Greenkeeper, the assistant greenkeeper will work alongside the existing team of greenkeepers completing a variety of tasks to maintain the high standards of the golf course and estate for our customers
• You will be required to work annualised 40 hours per week, including some shift work and weekend rota.

The Person

• The successful candidate will need to be flexible and reliable, possess good communication skills, and enjoy working as part of a team
• Be physically fit, hard-working, punctual, and have a positive can-do attitude with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work as part of the team and on your own
• Ability to operate golf course machinery safely
• Have a good understanding of Health and Safety practices
